ICT enabled tools for effective teaching-learning process
The college understands that the teaching learning process is dynamic and has to ensure the use of latest technological tools in order to keep up with the advancements in the field of education. For this purpose, the college academic building has wi-fi facility covering all the classrooms and departments. Over 12 Wi-fi routers are mounted at strategic locations so as to enable every student and staff for free internet use. The LCD projectors are used for teaching in each faculty. Over six LCD projectors are in use at different locations viz. Geography department, Language Laboratory, English Department, Physics department, Chemistry department, Mathematics department. The Commerce department has a fully computerized, internet connected laboratory for their own teaching and practical. The computer department has three LAN connected laboratories. The language laboratory has 20=1 terminals (Teacher’s console = 20 learning terminals) that are internet connected. All the laboratories have broadband internet access. The college has a separate lease line of 10 MBPS capacity. Uninterrupted power supply is ensured with battery and generator back-up.
