History:
The Department of Mathematics was established with the opening of the college in the year 1969 most of the principals of the college have been from the subject of Mathematics. The dept. has mathematics research center and six students are doing the research work leading up to Ph.D. degree in Mathematics.
Ahmedpur, a township in the lap of the Balaghatmountain Ranges, was a taluka in Osmanabad district and now in the district of Latur has ever remained a famine stricken area with consequences like poverty and illiteracy.
