History:
The subject Comp. Sci. was introduced in our college as an optional subject at B.Sc. level from the academic year 1991-92. The department is established as an independent dept. in the year 1999-2000. and started M.Sc.(Comp. Sci) course from the academic year 1999-2000. We have started B.C.A. and B.Sc.(c.s.) job oriented courses from the academic year 2000-2001 with intake capacity of 160 & 80 respectively.
About HOD:
Shri. U.B. Sathe has taken charge of the dept. since 13 March 2005. He has completed B.E. (Comp. Engg.) in 1991 from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He is working as a lecturer Since 1994. He has worked on affiliation committee, subject expect in Comp. Sci. & Exam. Committee in S.R.T.M. University, Nanded.
