History:
The subject Comp. Sci. was introduced in our college as an optional subject at B.Sc. level from the academic year 1991-92. The department is established as an independent dept. in the year 1999-2000. and started M.Sc. (Comp. Sci) course from the academic year 1999-2000. We have started B.C.A. and B.Sc. (C.S.) job-oriented courses from the academic year 2000-2001 with intake capacity of 160 & 80 respectively.
About HOD:
Dr. S. R. Holkar has taken charge of the dept. since 05 July 2025. He has completed M.Sc. Computer Science from Dr. B.A. M. University Aurangabad and M.Phil. From Madurai Kamraj University,Madurai and Awarded Ph.D. From Shri Venketeshwara University Gajurala in Computer Science. He is working as a lecturer Since 1999, and He appointed as Assist Prof in 2024. He has worked as On-Screen CAP Co-Ordinator, Paper Setter, Modretor, examiner in Comp. Sci. in S.R.T.M. University, Nanded.
