- The college is a premier institution in Latur district and is identified as educationally backward district by U.G.C. The college is regarded as a quality Institution in the Marathwada region. It has successfully maintained traditions of excellence in the university and Board examination results. It has acquired today the position of a light house in the ocean of education creating an educational culture of its own. This culture has earned name and fame and got statewide recognition for its spectacular success in the board and university examinations.
- The college students topped six times in the General Merit List of the State at H.S.C. Examination in 1992,1995 ,1996,2000,2004 and 2005.
- The college students have topped the merit list at the Regional level consecutively and invariably since 1995 and have occupied one of the top three positions in the state.
- Miss. Nalbale, Miss Bangale, Miss Rinka Kale and Miss Swati Tarawade stood First amongst the girl candidates in the State in 1992, 1996 , 1998 and 2005 respectively.

- Mr.Sanjay Marakwad and Mr. Sharad Sonpeer were First in the State amongst the B.C. Candidates in the year 1997 and 2001 respectively while Mr. Sunil Shinde topped the merit list of Physically Handicapped in 2002
- The college has created a glorious tradition of excellent performance at the Pre -medical & Engineering entrance tests in the state. Every year the college students feature among the top 100 successful candidates in the CET .
- At the CET (Engg.&Medical)2007,20 students have scored above 190/200 marks and 69 students have scored marks above 180/200.
- Over 139 students from the college have secured admission in the Govt. Medical college in the academic year 2007-08.
